Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MT Studio ("MT Studio", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use I Believe: Daily Affirmations (the "App") and related websites operated by MT Studio (the "Site"). By using the App or Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Profile preferences — optional first name, gender, and age range you choose during onboarding, used to personalize your experience.
- Onboarding responses — feelings, life areas, self-care barriers, and spiritual connection ratings you select during setup.
- Heart input — optional free-text describing what's on your heart, used to suggest affirmation themes. This may be processed by our servers and third-party AI services (see Section 2).
- Daily check-ins — mood and spiritual connection ratings before and after affirmation sessions. These are stored on your device only and are not sent to our analytics providers.
- Saved affirmations — card IDs you favorite, stored on your device.
- Support communications — if you email us, we keep that correspondence to help you.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data — app interactions, feature usage, session length, device model, operating system version, language, and approximate region, used to improve the App and measure marketing effectiveness.
- Subscription data — purchase, renewal, trial, and entitlement status. We never see or store your full payment card details — those are handled by Apple.
- Anonymous identifiers — a randomly generated anonymous ID stored on your device to understand product usage across sessions.
- Advertising identifiers (iOS) — with your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT), an advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used for ad attribution. You can decline, and the App will still work.
We do not require an account. I Believe does not collect email addresses, passwords, or phone numbers.
2. Service providers we use
We rely on trusted third-party services to operate the App. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

Heart-input text is sent to our server only when you submit it during onboarding. We do not maintain a user account database. Our API processes requests in real time and does not persist your heart-input text in a user profile database.
3. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and personalize the App's core features.
- To process and validate your subscription.
- To understand how the App is used so we can improve it.
- To measure the effectiveness of our marketing.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues, and to comply with the law.
We do not use your mood check-in data or raw heart-input text for advertising.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of: performance of our contract with you (providing the App), your consent (e.g. tracking and certain analytics), and our legitimate interests (improving and securing the App). You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed above, when required by law, or in connection with a business transfer. Providers are permitted to use your data only to perform services for us.
6. Data retention
Most of your data is stored locally on your device. You can reset the App by deleting and reinstalling it, which removes locally stored data. Subscription records are retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies. Support emails are retained as long as needed to resolve your request.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent or opt out of tracking (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers where required.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App or on the Site.
