Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of I Believe: Daily Affirmations from Scripture (the "App") and related websites operated by MT Studio (the "Site"), provided by MT Studio ("MT Studio", "we", "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App or Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.

3. Subscriptions & payments

The App offers premium features through an auto-renewing subscription ("I Believe Pro" or similar name shown at purchase).
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the period.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
Prices may vary by region and are shown to you before purchase. Any free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled beforehand.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.

4. Your information & onboarding input

The App does not require you to create an account.

If you choose to share what's on your heart during onboarding, enter a first name, save affirmations, or set preferences, that information is used to personalize your experience. You retain ownership of what you type. You grant us a limited license to process onboarding text solely to suggest themes and acknowledgments — including through secure third-party AI services — and to operate the App's features. We do not use your onboarding text for advertising or sell it to third parties.

You are responsible for the information you provide and confirm you have the right to use it.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Submit content that is abusive, harassing, or intended to harm others.
Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to our systems.
Misuse, copy, or redistribute App content (including affirmation text, designs, and audio) beyond your personal use.

6. Spiritual & wellbeing disclaimer

The App provides devotional, reflective, and wellness content for personal and spiritual encouragement. Affirmations are rooted in Scripture and intended to support your faith journey — they are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or mental-health advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, or need immediate help, please contact a qualified professional or your local emergency services. In the United States, you can call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

7. Intellectual property

The App, the Site, and all related designs, text, graphics, logos, audio, and software are owned by MT Studio or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. "I Believe" and related branding are our marks. Scripture quotations are used in accordance with applicable licenses and attribution requirements. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

8. Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services including Apple, RevenueCat, Amplitude, Firebase, Meta, AppsFlyer, Vercel, and AI providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI-generated theme suggestions will always match your expectations.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MT Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Deleting the App removes locally stored data. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the App or on the Site. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at MT Studio's place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
