Common Issues
Frequently asked
Subscription
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store, not within Arise itself.
iOS: Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Arise → Cancel Subscription.
Android: Open Google Play → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Arise → Cancel.
Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.
Restore Purchases
Open Arise and go to Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you originally subscribed. If the issue persists, email us at support@mtstudioapp.com with your order confirmation.
Account & Data
Prayer streaks and progress are stored locally on your device by default. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, local data may not transfer. We recommend enabling iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android) backup in the app settings to keep your progress safe.
Yes. Sign in with the same account on both devices and your prayer history and subscription will sync automatically. Make sure you have an active internet connection when switching devices for the first time.
Bugs & Technical
First, try closing the app completely and reopening it. If the issue continues, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (your data will be preserved if backup is enabled). If the problem persists, please report the bug — see the "Report a Bug" section below.
Notifications
Check that notifications are enabled for Arise in your device settings. On iOS: Settings → Arise → Notifications → Allow Notifications. On Android: Settings → Apps → Arise → Notifications. Also ensure Do Not Disturb mode is not blocking the notifications.
Privacy
Request Data Deletion
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data from Arise: Daily Prayer Journal. To submit a data deletion request, please follow these steps:

Send an email to support@mtstudioapp.com with the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".

Include the email address associated with your Arise account (if applicable) and your device type (iOS or Android).

We will confirm receipt within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Note: Deleting your data will permanently remove your prayer history, streak, and account preferences. This action cannot be undone.
