1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Arise: Daily Prayer Journal (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Arise: Daily Prayer Journal is a guided prayer and spiritual wellness app that provides daily scripture, teachings, reflections, prayers, affirmations, and personal growth steps. The App offers content across multiple spiritual tracks, each spanning 30 days, with three session lengths (short, medium, or deep).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use the App.

4. Account and Data

The App uses anonymous authentication. We do not require you to create an account with personal credentials. Your progress and preferences are stored locally on your device and may be synced through anonymous identifiers for community features.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free Trial. New users may receive a limited free trial period to access premium features. Trial duration and availability are subject to change.

5.2 Subscription Plans. The App offers the following auto-renewing subscription options:

  • Weekly subscription
  • Monthly subscription
  • Yearly subscription

5.3 Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

5.4 Price Changes. We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. You will be notified of any price changes in advance. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

5.5 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription settings (Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Google Play Store > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

5.6 Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google per their respective refund policies.

6. User Conduct

When using community features (prayer requests), you agree not to:

  • Post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, or discriminatory
  • Share personal information of others without consent
  • Post spam, advertisements, or off-topic content
  • Impersonate another person
  • Post content that is illegal or violates any applicable law

We reserve the right to remove content and restrict access to users who violate these guidelines.

7. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including prayers, teachings, reflections, affirmations, steps, design elements, and branding — is the property of MT Studio and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer

The App provides spiritual and devotional content for personal use. It is not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, medical advice, or mental health treatment. If you are experiencing a crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MT Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law principles.
